The latest Elecro pool heaters have evolved from the 800 Series. These units come fully equipped and pre-wired including a super sensitive flow switch, that allows safe coupling to Intex, Fast Set type splasher pools. They also come complete with a control thermostat, safety thermostat and integral contactor relay.
The heaters are very easy to install, requiring only final connection to a mandatory separate RCD.No pump interterlock is required. All heaters come fitted with 1½" BSP female threaded adapters for easy connection to rigid pipework. Heater sizes 2-kW through to 12-kW are also supplied with hose tail adapters for connection to flexible pipework.

The Elecro TiTANIUM swimming pool heater is the latest addition to our growing product range. As with the stainless steel model all units come fully equipped with a highly sensitive flow switch, control thermostat, high limiting safety thermostat & integral contactor / relay. The main difference is that the tank & element(s) are now being produced in Pure Titanium.

The decision was made to produce in Titanium for a number of reasons, not only for it's super strength but also for it's outstanding corrosion & erosion resistance properties. The reason that Titanium is so tough in comparison to all other metals is that it is completely non-reactive, this means that the Titanium heater is also suitable for heating acids or virtually any liquids. The Titanium heaters are as easy to install as the stainless steel model, all heaters are fitted with 1½'' BSP female threaded adapters for connection to rigid pipework, heater sizes 2-kW through to 12-kW are also supplied with hosetail adapters for connecting to flexible pipework.

Titanium Heater Size

Elecro Heat Pump 65 Btu Ref: ehp40
Elecro's Titanium Heat Exchanger are one of the most efficient and reliable swimming pool heat pumps available. Built to the highest standards.
How they work:-

Step 1 : The evaporator absorbs heat from the ambient air drawn through the evaporator coil by the fan (1a). The heat is transferred to the cold refrigerant flowing through the evaporator coil and the residual cooler air generated by the process is then discharged out of the heat pump by the fan (1b).

Step 2 : The compressor then receives the warmed refrigerant and by the compression action, heats it, elevating substantially the pressure inside the system. The now hot refrigerant converted to gas is then pumped to the condenser.

Step 3 : The heat from the hot refrigerant flowing inside the condenser is then transferred to the pool water, touching the exterior of the condenser coil, when flowing through the heat exchanger. In the process, the refrigerant temperature drops and the water temperature increases.

Step 4 : The now warm refrigerant flows through the pressure control regulator device (capillaries or expansion valve) greatly reducing the pressure inside the system and chilling the refrigerant to a cool state again. The refrigerant is then ready to restart the process and flow into the evaporator coil to collect the heat again.

Superior Efficiency, Low Running Costs
A swimming pool heat pump only requires energy to operate a compressor and a fan motor, requiring minimum power consumption in the process. Elecro FocusTemp heat pumps can produce up to 5 times more heat energy than the electrical power it consumes. This means that for every 1-kW of electricity consumed, the heat pump can produce up to 5-kW of heat output into the pool water.
