It is important to pick the right size of pump. You need to move the entire volume of water in your swimming pool every 8 hours The resistance of the pipes etc that the water flows through is measured and this we call the "Head in metres"and in most cases a .75 Hp motor will do the trick, but look at the chart to pick the right model. You can calculate this by dividing the volume of water in your pool by 8(hours) this is the very minimum head of water and we suggest you add 50% to this number in chosing the right pump.
